About this position

The Infrastructure Platform Department Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and accessibility of IT infrastructure while managing demand and aligning with technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, scalability and accessibility of IT Infrastructure supporting the Service Levels and KPI targets.
• Manage all incoming demand, Plan and priorities and alignment with Technology Strategy and Implementing cost-control strategies.
• Provide periodic review of infrastructure status and recommend mitigation plan.
• Drive Sub-Contractors to perform best practices with clear tracking to Service Levels and KPI targets.
• Manage team activities that support resource development in key areas of IT Infrastructure operation to ensure continuity in service delivery.
• Continuously update oneself with changes in related trend, which affect tools, processes, systems, and frameworks relevant to the role, in order to maintain knowledge levels required to perform complicated tasks.
• Supporting new architecture configuration and evaluation in regards to Virtualized Infrastructure to ensure reliability and readiness in infrastructure or system.
• Manage infrastructure capacity planning, dimensioning and performance optimization in part of system infrastructure.
• Ensure that all enterprise platforms are efficiently designed and sufficient for all network and IT solutions integration.
• Design and deploy dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on the Cloud.
• Perform in-depth analysis on benchmarking relevant domains to adopt market best practices into organization.
• Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level.

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management or Cloud Platform Management.
• Experience with Hardware, Network, Active Directory (AD), Nginx & Redis performance tuning and high availability.
• Strong experience with containerize technology such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.
• Proven experience in major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with cloud technology and RPA will be plus.
• Familiarity with OpenShift is plus.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Good in English and Thai (Read, Write and Speak).
• Good communication, strong-analytical and problem-solving skills. Positive thinking and good working as a team.
