About this position

This job is for a Near Series Engineer in the R&D Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for near-series engineering product area injectors, supporting implementation of engineering changes, and cross-functional coordination among development, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar, and professional experience of over 3 years, preferably in automotive product/process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Near-series engineering product area injectors
• Near-series support for port fuel injectors (product, components and manufacturing processes)
• Support implementation of engineering changes
• Cross-functional coordination among development, purchasing, quality, manufacturing
• Systematic problem solving and risk assessment
• Collaboration with design, function, validation engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
• Very good command in English
• Professional experience of over 3 years, preferably in automotive product/process engineering
• Understanding the industrial mass production aspects
• Know-how of product and technical knowledge
• Understanding manufacturing processes and test methods
• Knowledge of FMEA, DRBFM, SAP
• Data Postprocessing and statistical analysis
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Self-structured and self-reliant mode of working
• Cross functional working mindset
• High sense of responsibility and motivation
