About this position
The Supply Chain Manager (Food Trading Business) will be responsible for managing procurement activities, coordinating with related departments, sourcing potential food suppliers, monitoring shipments, and providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.Responsibilities
• Manage procurement activities both local, neighboring countries, and overseas• Coordinate with related departments to ensure that company get the best benefits (price, terms and condition)
• Sourcing potential food suppliers, compare and evaluate offers from food suppliers, handle price negotiations and delivery planning to meet user requirements
• Conduct and supervise inquiries and sourcing for alternative/new suppliers for cost effectiveness purpose
• Monitor shipment with suppliers, brokers and shipping agents according to confirmed delivery date, delivery status, custom clearance purpose and update to concerned departments
• Cooperate with concerned departments regarding material returns, rejects and complaints
• Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related area of study or equivalent experience• Minimum 8 – 10 years of working experience in procurement field both import and export in food trading business
• Ability to work independently and handle new set up business
• Strong Analytical Thinking, Leadership skills and Good relationship management
• Excellent communications and Strong negotiation skills
• Good command of English, TOEIC 600 and Chinese
• Computer literacy in MS office
• Detail oriented, willing to learn, self-driven, highly motivated individual with positive energy
• Possess driving license and car
