About this position

The Specialist Recovery, MIS & PMR Management position involves providing technical support to the Precious Metal Refinery plant, ensuring production targets are met, and enhancing quality, safety, and sustainability through effective management and training.

Responsibilities

• To ensure technical support to engineering and operations with respect to the Precious Metal Refinery plant through in depth analysis of machine performance and processes and influence conditioning monitoring and predictive maintenance as well as technical training to increase productivity and plant availability.
• To ensure planning to achieve the budgeted production numbers and provide technical support towards inspecting and analysing product quality to check variance in specification and helping the PMR operations team with rectification towards minimising rejections.
• To impact quality, safety and sustainability through across technical services through implementation of Standard Operating Processes, optimum utilisation of resources and compliance with relevant statutory, safety, health and environment norms.
• To motivate performance and continuous training of the PMR technical services team.

Requirements

• Graduate in Chemical Engineering; Mineral Processing; Metallurgical Engineering; Process Engineering
• 10+ years of extensive works experience in supervisory or managerial roles, including overseeing multiple teams or departments. 7+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role & capacity in the relevant department in the industry.
