About this position

Senior Key Account Executive is responsible for maximizing sales growth in assigned direct B2B Institutional accounts including corporations, Schools/Universities, & other new channels / subsegments in the country by engaging in promotion, implementation, negotiation and creation of sales and marketing strategy and tactics for employees and dependents mass vaccination, with an objective of increasing vaccination coverage.


• Identify new business opportunities; actively prospect and pursue sales leads; make sales calls and visits in geography, and / or industry assigned; actively network to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities
• Identify and prioritize list of target account opportunities for 'prospecting cycle' as per customer buying pattern / policy
• Continuously monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a pipeline of opportunities is maintained
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within Corporate accounts, such as Procurement and Human Resources
• Understand and stay up-to-date with corporate accounts policies, procedures, and decision-making processes related to purchasing
• Derive strong understanding of the customer’s needs / challenges and able to address potential objections
• Strategically execute a comprehensive engagement & account plan to ensure business sustainability
• Lead the sales process; prepare and lead the sales presentation
• Coordinate contracts/proposals to develop accounts with new business leads. Handle follow-up related to the sale and drive completion of contractual documents
• Collaborate with Private channel Sales team to ensure successful tenders and RFPs where needed
• Monitor actions and results against account / sales plans
• Maintain visibility within customer organizations; monitor customer satisfaction by communicating regularly with customer; resolves complaints; monitors changing customer needs and competitor activities
• Conduct win / loss analyses
• Report all sales related activities in CRM system
• Prepare sales activity report for Sales Management as required


• Bachelor's Degree Life Sciences or related field
• 8+ years of experience in business-to-business sales with hands-on experience of tender/RFP process
• Proven successful record and strong understanding of Business development in Corporate channel
• Direct experience working in hospital’s Sales or Marketing is preferred
• Good understanding of Pharma industry and related procedures
• Business Acumen and entrepreneurial traits
• Self-directed, independent and capable of prioritizing opportunities, performing multiple tasks and manage time effectively
• Good command of English
• Fluency software operating systems, such as MS Office and CRM systems
