Quality Assurance Manager
About this position
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs activities to ensure product quality meets company standards. This role involves maintaining certifications, leading quality and food safety systems, and providing technical support in food safety-related issues.
Responsibilities
• Quality management representative for the company (QMR).
• Manage and supervise Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) activities in order to assure product quality is fully conformed to the company requirements.
• Maintain and continue the company certificate: GHPs/HACCP/HALAL/ASC&MSC COC/MIA-ISO22000/BRC, DLD, DOF, FDA.
• Lead the establishment and implementation of quality and food safety system according to the company policy.
• Drive food safety and hygiene improvement projects in factory to meet company goals.
• Ensure that Food Safety Quality and Regulatory standards are applied during the entire project: from its design to its implementation, to support, energize and contribute to the improvement of Food Safety Quality and Regulatory.
• Provide technical support & expertise in quality & food safety related problem solving, aligned sampling method, material risk analysis & crisis management.
• Supervise incoming, on-line, NC inspections.
• Monitor regulatory changes and consider the implications to business.
• Supervise all related regulatory documents for compliance i.e. product registration, amendment/ renewal of licenses.
• Coordinate and facilitate to internal and external organization (government, authorities and customers).
• Review and approve product specifications.
• Manage all audits (Internal audits, Certified body audits, Customer audits, Branch audits and Supplier audits) effectively.
• Manage the quality and food safety training to the employees.
• Manage Shelf life study test for product such as chilled to frozen, thawing from frozen or new processing items.
• Manage customer complaint activities. Verify the root cause analysis and ensure the effectiveness of the corrective action and preventive action to avoid problem re-occurrence.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree or higher in Microbiology, Food Science, Food Technology or Related fields.
• At least 5 years in QA area and above 3 years in management level, food industry are preferable.
• With good understanding of the food manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management system.
• Understand in problem solving tools and applicable.
• Strong leaderships, communication, analytical, and negotiation skill.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• High executive maturity and adaptability.
• Good command of English and computer literate.
• Knowledge of ERP, SAP System would be advantage.
