The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all construction projects within the company. They will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations. The Construction Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee and manage all construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement construction plans and schedules, coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Manage and coordinate the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery.
• Supervise and provide guidance to construction teams, including contractors, foremen, and laborers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify any issues or delays, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
