About this position
The main mission of the DTS Technical Sales is to grow the business of EcoStruxure Transformer Expert (ETE) and associated offers. ETE is a disruptive IOT, SaaS technology focused on power transformer condition monitoring and predictive analytics.The candidate will support the Company’s sales teams in a designated regions in driving DTS sales and engage customers along with account managers and solutions architects to understand transformer fleet maintenance cycles and help clarify the value proposition in the different market segments.
Responsibilities
Identify the right customers to promote ETE.Identify bundling opportunities for ETE in Schneider long-term service contracts or modernization projects
Drive or participate in customer-facing meetings at the various sales stages to present the technical value of the offer and clarify customer transformer maintenance practices and needs.
Contribute to strategic studies, such as competition analysis, offer positioning in the local market.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.Experience in transformer operations.
Minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in the subject matter—transformer condition monitoring, maintenance, and repair.
Extensive knowledge on Transformer Diagnostic like DGA and/or on field electrical test .
Knowledge of competitive—direct or indirect—solutions.
Ideally has experience as a user/owner of a transformer fleet and with experience in the maintenance cycle.
Desired but not required: thorough knowledge of how transformers are manufactured and/or operated, their functionality, the science behind them and their maintenance cycles.
