PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM THE USER
When you (the User) visits the Site or the App, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
– “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
– “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make a resource download, use a contact function or attempt to do so, we collect certain information from you, including your name, company name, job title, phone number and email. We refer to this information as “Contact Information.”
LIST OF POSSIBLE COOKIES BEING USED BY HUNEETY
The following cookies may be used on The Site or The App to allow a better navigation experience or compatibility with analytics/advertising platforms. Cookies may have a retention period up to 24 months (maximum), unless opted out or deleted from the User browser.
- Google adwords (advertising purpose), Google Analytics (statistics purpose) and Gstatic (browsing purpose).
- LinkedIn (advertising and social media interaction purpose).
- WordPress cookies (linked to The Site, remembering session and acceptance of cookie settings).
- App cookies (from app.huneety.com or yourcompany.huneety.com, used for remembering session and user settings such as the language of the app).
- Crisp (chat messenging app, to communicate with us).
- Pendo (analytics and improvement of navigation through guided tours).
- CloudFlare (CDN, speeding up loading times and providing information to app such as your country’s IP).
- Microsoft (sharing to MS Teams feature).
- ActiveCampaign (marketing automation, analytics regarding user navigation behaviors and interaction with content forms such as whitepaper, or Contact us forms).
HOW DO WE USE THE USER CONTACT INFORMATION?
We use the Contact Information that we collect generally to communicate with you regarding potential collaboration with your company regarding Human Resources services.

We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site, you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We use third-party tools such as Pendo (User Interface and guided tours) and Crisp (messenging chat app) to provide a better experience to our visitors on both the site and the app.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
CORPORATE AND ORGANIZATION AND EMPLOYEES INFORMATION IN THE APP
As a User of the App, typically an HR professional within your organization (“the Company”), you may be required to input and store the following information into Huneety databases:
- “Organizational information” about entities and departments (name of entities, descriptions, name of the manager in charge).
- “Position requirements” for various company jobs (job titles and required skills for a position).
- “Personal information related to employees” (the “Employee”) (name of employee, email of employee, associated skillset, record of skills and competencies, and/or assessments from colleagues if any have been sent).
As a User of the app, you acknowledge that any Employee information stored in the application should be limited to the intent of mapping the skillset of an individual within its current job or career development next position. No other personal information should be stored.
It can be noted that Huneety tries voluntarily to restrict to the minimum the information linked to employees and will not collect further demographic information about employees, as this information typically already lies within the company’s HRMS or PMS. Information collected will be in relation to the position or individual skillset only. The email (preferably the professional email, if available) of the Employee is collected in order to send assessments and to be used as a key for interoperability when the Company tries to transfer data from Huneety into third-party software (HRMS, PMS, etc.)
PERSONAL EMPLOYEE INFORMATION RECTIFICATION OR DELETION
- Data Expiration.
Huneety reverses the right to delete unused workspaces and organizational data which have been used or accessed within 365 days. Date from which it may not be available to the “Company” or “The Employee” anymore.
- Access to data.
The “Employee” may request information from its HR (the “User”) which will be able to conveniently export the individual data through the Analytics section of the App. Alternatively, the “Employee” may also require the information directly to Huneety by mentioning the name of the parent company, date of employment, and proof of identification. Note that in this case, Huneety will also perform a check with the parent organization before amending data.
- Data deletion.
The “Employee” may request that all data regarding her/his person should be deleted from Huneety app. This can be done by reaching out to the HR user which will be able to delete the user from the app. Alternatively, the “Employee” may also require the deletion of the information directly to Huneety by mentioning the name of the parent company, date of employment and proof of identification. Note that in this case, Huneety will also perform a check with the parent organization before amending data.
As a corporate User of the app, you acknowledge that any Employee information which information has been stored by your company within the App has the right to come to you and request (1) a copy of the data regarding his/her person, (2) amend any information related to his/her person or (3) permanently delete all related information connecting his/her person. You may cooperate directly by providing/amending/deleting the information or you may contact Huneety to get support on any of the following, which will be executed within the best delays and within the legal GDPR 30 days limit.
Huneety offers paid services and subscriptions which can be purchased online by its customers. For payment processing and billing purpose, we may require additional information, which we refer to as “Payment information”.
To be able to process and record an order, we may require and store a billing address, typically a company address, with which we will generate an invoice that will be sent to you.
As part of the checkout process, we may require some sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers, expiration dates and security codes. Although those are input by the user on the Site, the information is not processed or stored on the Site. Upon submission, sensitive information are encrypted and processed directly by our a secured payment gateway partner (Omise, for more information please refer to their blog post: https://www.omise.co/2015-02-18-how-secure-is-omise ). Huneety never processes or stores any credit card information directly on its servers.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
ORDER DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
