Our portfolio company is seeking a Merchandiser (Buyer) specializing in modern trade.
Kewajiban
• Develop and implement buying strategies to optimize product assortment and drive sales within the modern trade segment.
• Source new products and suppliers, conduct market research, and stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop promotional plans, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
• Analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and market trends to forecast demand and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels, product performance, and sell-through rates to identify slow-moving items and take proactive measures to minimize excess inventory.
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Merchandiser, Buyer, or in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior.
• Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
