The R&D Design Engineer/BOM Maker is responsible for designing and developing new products or improving existing ones within the research and development (R&D) department.
Kewajiban
• Create and maintain comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all product designs (Refrigerator product).
• Accurately document all components, materials, and subassemblies required for product manufacturing and assembly.
• Ensure BOMs are up-to-date and reflect any design changes or revisions and cross-functional teams [design, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, planning] to resolve BOM related issued and discrepancies.
• Lead Engineering change management to collaborated by approved changes relevant department and teams, providing clear instructions and timelines for implementation.
• Monitor and report on the status of Engineering change tracking and implementation progress and addressing any issues or delay from plan.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, engineering drawings, BOMs, and related technical documentation.
• Generate reports, presentations, and updates to communicate project status, milestones, and technical findings to stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Industrial engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of progressive experience in BOM management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical/electrical design principles.
• Experience with BOM management and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and SAP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in drawing drawing (e.gใSolidWorks, AutoCAD) for understanding/ creating detailed product designs and engineering drawings. and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
