The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the structural integrity and safety of projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Kewajiban
• Designing and analyzing structures, such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels, to ensure they are safe and structurally sound.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement structural design plans that meet project requirements and specifications.
• Performing calculations and simulations to determine the strength, stability, and load-bearing capacity of structures.
• Creating detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Reviewing and approving construction plans and materials to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed structural projects.
• Monitoring construction progress and providing technical guidance and support to construction teams.
• Investigating and analyzing structural failures or accidents to determine the cause and recommend corrective actions.
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in structural engineering technology, materials, and techniques to enhance
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering
• Proficient in using structural analysis software and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations in Indonesia
