Subsidiary of Medco Energi Internasional, Tbk. for oil and gas activities in Indonesia, focusing on upstream activity, exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas. MedcoEnergi’s upstream activities began with its 1992 acquisition of Tesoro’s Oil and Gas E&P contracts (Sanga-Sanga/Samboja/Tarakan Blocks TAC and Tarakan Block PSC) in East Kalimantan, MedcoEnergi proceeded to successfully demonstrated its capability in redeveloping and improving the production of mature fields in East Kalimantan. The success in enhancing the performance of mature fields in East Kalimantan, on top of the successful stocks IPO in early fourth quarter 1994, strengthened MedcoEnergi’s confident to expand its upstream activities. In 1995 the Company acquired PT Stanvac Indonesia from Exxon and Mobil Oil. The Company acquired Oil and Gas E&P contracts (PSCs) in South Sumatra through this transaction

Detail posisi

Support Senior Manager Industrial Relations in maintaining industrial peace throughout companies by identifying and mitigating potential industrial relations issues, establishing internal policies and guidelines, handling Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) renewal process and conducting negotiation with labor union(s), giving advice on industrial relations issue to Medco management, imposing disciplinary actions, handling industrial relations disputes settlement and grievances.

Kewajiban

• Establishing policies, guidelines and procedures
• Handling CLA renewal process and conducting negotiation with labor union(s)
• Giving advice and ensuring compliance to labor laws and regulations for both permanent, direct contract and 3rd party; Consistently measure and impose disciplinary action for any violation within Medco premises;
• Conducting proactive actions to prevent potential industrial relations issue through various way of communication;
• Maintaining good relationship and communication with stakeholders both internal (Management, other departments, employee and Labor Union etc.) and external stakeholders (Government and Contractors);
• Supporting Senior Manager Industrial Relations in managing industrial relations issue based on prevailing laws and regulation and Company’s internal policy with minimum noise and risk;
• HSE awareness; involving uphold and ensure compliance with HSE standards for performance and behaviour, implement programs to achieve the requirements of the HSEMS, manage HSE risk and promote risk awareness amongst employees.

Kualifikasi

• Education: Minimum University Degree; preferably with Legal discipline
• Working Experience:Minimum 3 years working experience in IR function
Minimum 5 years working experience in a company
• Required competencies:Good analytical, conceptual and systematic thinking; Good communication and presentation skills to senior management and general employees (verbal and written);
Good command in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, verbal and written (spelling, grammar);
Good negotiation skills;
Good understanding of manpower laws and regulations;
Understanding Indonesian laws principle is an advantage but not mandatory;
