Professional Senior Database Administrator (DBA) responsible for maintaining MSSQL databases and providing operational support for global agile team.

Kewajiban

• Maintain database systems on safe operational level with best possible performance and uptime
• Design and implement database systems in accordance with business requirements
• Implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
• Support and ensure backup and recovery of database systems
• DB user management and hardening for security
• Monitoring for any issues within database and sustainable resolution issues
• Conduct training on databases to our team
• Ensure seamless data synchronization between distributed database systems
• Perform regular tests and evaluations to ensure performance, data security, privacy and integrity
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Troubleshoot application-related issues
• Provide technical support to ServiceDesk team to solve incoming incidents
• Provide proactive and reactive data management/issue support training to ServiceDesk team

Kualifikasi

• Master degree in IT, Computer Science or related field with 3 or more years of working experience in software development
• Proven working experience as a Database Administrator (>3yrs)
• Hands-on experience with distributed MS-SQL database, DB standards & end-user applications
• Excellent knowledge of monitoring, reporting, disaster recovery, data security, integrity
• Experience with no-SQL database systems
• Excellent in T-SQL and safe in scripting, CASE tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
• Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
• Business awareness and comprehension of IT business requirements
• Microsoft certified Azure Database Administrator Associate or alternative certifications is a plus
• Experience with containerization of databases (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, …) is a plus
• Team player working closely together with our domain engineers and service desk
• Capable to summarize and explain complex technical topics easily
• Fluent in spoken and written English
