The Health, Safety, & Environment Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSE management systems, leading cultural change in HSE practices, and ensuring effective management of change and competency development within the organization.
Kewajiban
• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems in compliance with local, state, and international regulations, emphasizing continuous improvement and best practice​
• Lead a cultural change in HSE practices across the organization, embedding safety as a core value within all operational and administrative processes.​
• Independently manage all HSE activities, including risk assessments, safety training, incident investigations, and compliance audits.​
• Set and achieve HSE goals for the organization and the HSE department, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.​
• Ensure effective management of change for all organizational changes affecting HSE and maintain an up-to-date inventory of hazardous materials and waste.​
• Develop competency among HSE team members and across the organization through targeted training programs and performance management strategies.​
• Establish effective communication and reporting channels for HSE performance metrics, incidents, and improvement initiatives to all relevant stakeholders.​
• Provide strategic leadership in contingency management and emergency response planning and execution.​
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) are highly desirable.​
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE roles, including at least 5 years in senior leadership positions within HSE management. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field is highly preferred.​
• Demonstrated success in leading cultural change and implementing HSE best practices in a commercial production environment.​
• Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and experience with HSE auditing techniques and risk management processes.​
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.​
• Fluency in English and proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and HSE management software.​
• Preferred to have a strong understanding of site security measures, including expertise in the deployment and management of physical security systems such as CCTV, door access control systems, and security protocols to ensure the safety and security of the site and its personnel.​
