Project Engineer responsible for managing engineering projects at the site, ensuring efficiency, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Develops, executes and/or manages engineering projects at the site to meet the proper efficiency, time, scope, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide input for process modifications and/or modifications of existing operation and develop business cases as appropriate.
• Delivers the site capex investment plan in accordance with agreed site priorities.
• Identify opportunities and make suggestions for improvement in operational process.
• Functional excellence in local codes/standards, permitting, project management and construction management and contractor control.
• Drives knowledge management (sharing, maintaining, updating information and best practices) both internal and external to the sites.
• Responsible for safe delivery of projects through correct management of contractors and third parties.
• Effectively engages with key site stakeholders (and other levels) to manage expectations on site (handover, training).
• Develops strong relationships at site level and with local and national service suppliers.
• Build and maintain a network within AkzoNobel within HSE, ISC, CAPEX procurement.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or any related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management or maintenance job in chemical or petrochemical industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge for project management.
• Good knowledge for HSE&S requirement and Hazard study, MOC, PSSR and PSM.
• Good knowledge in requirement ISO 9001, 14000 & OHSAS 18000.
• Leadership & supervisor skills.
• Good personality, service-minded, enthusiastic, and hard-working.
• Good command of the English language with computer proficiency.
