Quality Engineer (KAIZEN Engineer, New Product Quality Engineer)

• Take responsible for the overall quality activities related Zinc Die Casting process, plating and final assembly process.
• Perform statistical process studies and analyze data to identify root causes of defects and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Continuously make suggestions to improve processes in regard to quality and productivity.
• Reduce scrap product and identify opportunities for increasing capacity.
• Develop and implement Kaizen projects to optimize equipment operability and productivity.
• Lead, Supervise and control Group Leaders & Inspector to perform their responsibility properly.
• Take response of problem solving of internal rejection and customer complaint and claim.
• Support for all of improvement/promotion activities including all concerned management system.
• Take responsible for improvements including new products, new tools Trial and Pilot series related to Zinc Die Casting process.
• Take responsible for Mold and Tools release.
• Plan, set and summarize inspection and test method to confirm product quality including design and performance for new product.
• Monitor, solve and improve product quality with other sections including field test monitoring with customer or related section.
• Evaluate and improve supplier quality for new part or product.
• Engineering Consultant that provide advice, training or knowledge for their team.
• Work follow by quality, safety and environment policy.
• Ensures products meet data sheet specifications and recommends product enhancements.
• Performs necessary product qualification activities.
• Monitors yields and provides feedback to related engineering areas and recommends cost reduction.
• Support product qualification with reliability test along with failure analysis for device improvement.
• Contribute to setting up BOM (Bill of Material), quality control plans, customer specifications, and product and process validation plans.
• Be able to prepare manufacturing documents for new products, coordinates with production, QC for review and approval.
