Staff Engineer Advanced Manufacturing (Machining) (Senior Level)
หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ
• Play a vital role in product development, process development, and integration between Engineering and Manufacturing (both within Harley-Davidson and Supply Base).
• Create manufacturing innovation, standardization, Bill-of-Process guidelines and templates, requirements planning, risk assessment/mitigation (PFMEA), and process design.
• Lead new product development projects through interfacing with design engineering, systems maintained by GIS, transitioning the process to Operations, completing after action analysis, and providing Continuous Improvement.
• Oversee quality, cost, and timing targets and deliverables on assigned projects.
คุณสมบัติ
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Machining of Aluminum as well as Steel components and familiar with machine tools, CNC controls, workholding, and cutting tools.
• Familiarity with other preceding or subsequent operations including Casting, Forging, Assembly, Heat Treatment, Painting, and Cosmetic Finishes.
• Knowledge in Design for Assembly/Manufacturing (DFA/M) principles; Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Methodology and the integrated product and process development techniques within it. Examples include Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, I/PPAP, and Standard Work.
