Hongsa Power Co.,Ltd is a joint venture US$3.7 billion, 1,878 MW lignite-fired power plant in Hongsa District, Sayabouly province, The business is a lignite mining and electricity generation facilities on a 70 square km, more than 300 km from Vientiane Capital yet only 35 km from Nan province, Thailand. The power plant will have 3 units, 626 MW each, and it is expected to start commercial operation by 2015. Hongsa Power Co.,Ltd is a shared enterprise from Ratchaburi Holding with 40%, Banpu Power Co., Ltd. with 40% and LHSE with 20%. The company is a result of a effort to address the increases in demand for electricity as well as to stimulate the socio – economic development.

The Senior Officer - Spare Part Sourcing will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, sourcing spare parts, and improving the efficiency of the procurement process on-site at the power plant.

• Run PR issuance report from SAP to identify potential vendors for spare parts and consumable parts. • Contact and coordinate with vendors for quotations, specifications, and negotiate prices. • Inform and provide quotations/specifications to the buyer team. • Monitor PO issuance and update PR/PO status to users. • Coordinate with relevant parties for non-conformance prevention and supplier confirmation. • Conduct yearly vendor evaluations and coordinate for improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/SAP. • TOEIC score of more than 500. • Minimum 1 year of experience in material/engineering procurement. • Willingness to work on-site at the power plant with 48 vacation leave days per year.
