• In relation to Motor Vehicle and Service Parts Regulations, develop and foster a close working relationship with the government and its agency representatives of the responsible markets
• Ensure providing information required for the SE & SE corporate data base contain the latest current and forecast Vehicle and Service Parts Regulations and Certification requirements including English translation
• Represent Mazda company working with Government Affairs, as necessary and to the extent permitted by local laws and customs, the appropriate Government Department and Agencies to achieve the Corporate objectives for the harmonization of international Vehicle Regulations, Standards and associated processes, whilst ensuring that the interests of the corporation and the company is best served
• Represent Mazda at Industry Association meetings and working groups pertaining to vehicle Regulations and Certification processes
• Responsible to lead the all local Homologation actions required to achieve and maintain vehicle/model “OK to Sell” status, including coordination of vehicle testing, inspections, presentations or witness testing outside of the Thailand and negotiations with the relevant Government Agency
• Ensure that all related departments are aware of the potential of their activities to impact on Vehicle and Service Parts Regulatory matters and a working rapport should be established with, in particular, the Government Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply, Marketing and Sales & Customer Service, and Public Affairs departments
