Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Applies subject matter knowledge. Requires the capacity to understand specific needs or requirements. Sources, orders, supplies and delivers competitively priced raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods. Develops plans related to volume and demand. Takes responsibility for master scheduling, buyer analyses, order management, production scheduling, marketing logistics, customer fulfillment, and inventory management.
หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ
• To assist Senior Material Planner and Material Planning Manager, in the projects in overall material management activities (buying and maintaining on time delivery schedule from supplier) and supporting on any improvement effort.
• Work closely with demand & production planner on the material usage requirement and participate in the S&OP processes eg., material risk & shortage assessment.
• Ensure delivery schedule from supplier is met according to the need date and ensure NO production impact due to shortages.
• Handle / monitoring daily material usage requirement to ensure no material interruption and excess of inventory by reviewing and offset outstanding PO every month. Experienced in indirect purchase of MRO / services will be added advantage.
• To have the strong background in MRP and master data (e.g., material, lead time, standard packing, safety stocks and etc.,) are properly maintained.
• Contribute intensive knowledge of supplier management and ensure suppliers able to comply with PPG best practices. eg., Shelf life, FIFO and others.
• To perform other related responsibilities.
คุณสมบัติ
• Degree holder, open for diploma candidates with relevant experience
• Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in Chemical Industry and experience in procurement, material planning and supply planning
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and positive attitude.
• Need candidate with material planning/supply chain background.
• Preferably candidate with basic understanding in excel function - Visual Basic Analysis/ Macro
• Fluent in English on writing and speaking
• Have experience in MRP background, open for candidates having other software for inventory and supply management system.
