Responsibilities of Warehouse Staff

1. Receive and process incoming stock items, verify their accuracy and quality, and log them into inventory management systems.

2. Pick and package orders for shipment and ensure that orders are accurately filled and shipped in a timely manner.

3. Load and unload trucks, verify and record the contents of shipments, and ensure that shipments meet quality and safety standards.

4. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits, and ensure that inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.

5. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials, and maintain the equipment in good working order.

6. Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, and ensure that all safety regulations are followed.

7. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, and to resolve any issues that arise.

8. Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.

9. Assist with the development of warehouse staff and provide training and guidance as needed.

10. Monitor stock levels and identify any discrepancies or shortages in inventory.
