About this position

The Thailand EHS Manager involves providing leadership and direction in the management of safety and environmental matters, to ensure delivery of the key safety and environmental goals for Amcor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, aligned with Amcor’s EHS standards
• Foster a proactive and positive plant safety culture
• Identify and leverage best practices by collaborating across the EHS network
• Partner with site and department leaders and employees on implementation of EHS initiatives
• Provide training and information to all employees as needed to satisfy regulatory and Amcor EHS requirements
• Coordinate and support environmental compliance activities, such as emissions control, waste disposal

Requirements

• Degree in EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related fields
• 10 years experience manufacturing
• Proficiency in applicable EHS codes, standards, regulations
• Good communication in both local Thai and English
• Travel as required more than 30%
