Business Development Specialist
About this position
Seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in the energy sector, specifically within HVAC/district cooling projects.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential markets, trends, and opportunities for district cooling projects.
• Assess the feasibility and viability of new projects, considering technical, financial, and regulatory factors.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and market shifts through monitoring industry developments and the competitive landscape.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in the district cooling projects sector.
• Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to establish relationships and explore collaboration opportunities.
• Lead negotiations of contracts, agreements, and partnerships to secure new district cooling projects.
Requirements
• Bachelor's in Engineering or Science. Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in business development/Sales/Marketing within the HVAC&R. Understanding ESCO or BOT model is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC, district cooling systems, energy efficiency, and sustainable energy practices.
• Strong business acumen and a track record of successfully developing and closing business deals.
• Excellent pipeline management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
