About this position

The Financial Data Scientist will support all aspects of the Company’s global Financial Planning and Analysis team.

Responsibilities

• Building sophisticated data models with the ability to identify essential analytical drivers.
• Involvement in AI/ML/optimization and statistical modeling initiatives.
• Developing and implementing statistical models to analyze financial data and forecast trends.
• Database management and optimization of core finance data artifacts and models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science or equivalent experience
• Typically, 4+ years related experience
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
• Technical Competencies: Python programming, R programming, Data visualization (Power BI), Machine learning techniques, Artificial intelligence (AI), SQL, Database architecture, Excel, Intermediate knowledge of Financial Statement analysis
• Non-Technical Competencies: Problem solving skills, Time management skills, Attention to detail, Communication skills, Collaboration, Adaptability, Business acumen, Continuous learning
