Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable margins.
• Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies. Conduct market research, attend trade shows, and monitor online platforms to identify emerging trends.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze sales data, and collaborate with inventory planners to ensure adequate stock levels of popular items while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop creative strategies for highlighting featured products or seasonal offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising or a related field, preferably in the furniture industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing a team.
