Fixed Asset Integrity Inspector

The Fixed Asset Integrity Inspector position at Dow Thailand Group involves reviewing job packages, ensuring safe maintenance practices, and managing inspection data.
Responsibilities
• Review the job package and check if work can be carried out safely
• Escalation safety issues in discipline area to leadership team
• Intervention for any EH&S concerns on work execution or working area
• Assures that all Maintenance Procedures include a hazard assessment indicating safety, health and environmental considerations and control measures to prevent contact or exposure
• Evaluate EH&S hazard and document into PTA (Pre Task Analysis) and ensure all work crews are aware
• Investigate the source/cause of the problem according to the value-added work process
• Performing Pressure Vessel, Piping, Tank inspections
• Reviewing and evaluating the inspection results and making recommendations as appropriate for repair/upgrade/retirement of equipment
• Defining and approving repairs to fixed equipment, per the applicable ASME/API standards and potentially including auditing and evaluation of contracted repair organizations, and inspection of repair work
• Managing inspection data in systems such as GE APM, SharePoint and SAP/PM
• Coordinating the work of NDT Inspectors/examiners and auditing and evaluation of their work
Requirements
• High vocational certificate or higher in Mechanic, Metallurgy and Welding
• At least 5-year experience in maintenance equipment (static equipment) with a background in inspection/examination of chemical plant process equipment
• API 510, 570 and 653 certifications is preferred. A certified welding inspector and ASNT level II certifications in VT. Other ASNT certifications in UT, PT, MT, RT (film) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of applicable ASME, API, and ASTM, Process Safety Management (PSM)
• Good communication skill both Thai and English
• Good Computer skill such as Microsoft office
