About this position

The Institutional Sales position involves building strong client relationships with institutional investors, providing investment ideas, and arranging events to enhance communication between companies and clients.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client relationship and become the key pointed person for the assigned accounts both local and foreign institutional investors such as asset management firms, insurance accounts, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, hedge funds.
• Participate in daily sales-research briefing and closely work with KKPS analyst team to market our research products, provide stock/industry updates and market insights to the clients under coverage.
• Regularly pitch actionable ideas that fit with clients’ investment criteria and preference.
• Work with team to develop sales products and initiate new investing themes to enhance clients’ return.
• Arrange high-quality corporate access and thematic events to help foster effective communication between companies, industry experts and institutional clients, translating to better decision makings within the financial market.
• Strongly collaborate within EDM group (Sales Trading & Execution, Corporate Access, Stock Borrowing and Lending, Quant Solution & Derivatives Markets) and cross functional teams such as Equity Capital Market, Investment banking, Investment Solution/Private Wealth to maximize the client experience.

Requirements

• A degree in Business or Finance (or related field).
• Preferably 5+ years of working experience in related fields.
• Existing and new client relationships would be a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; fluent in Thai & English.
• Must be a people person, service mind, confident, energetic, enthusiastic, quick to learn.
