About this position

The Packaging Engineer is responsible for planning and implementing packaging initiatives, researching new materials and equipment, and ensuring manufacturing operations are cost efficient.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the development of packaging initiatives, such as local NPDs and product transfers
• Facilitates the resolution of problems during the development process
• Act as the key technical lead via researching, identifying and evaluating new package materials and equipment
• Supports internal and external manufacturing sites
• Drives the development and approval of new technology implementation
• Identification and development of packaging concepts

Requirements

• Packaging Engineering Bachelors Degree (or equivalent degree) with min. 8y experience, Master’s Degree (or equivalent degree) with min. 3y experience
• A proven track record in managing packaging development
• Experience in the creation, development & delivery of new packaging
• Business protection & maintenance of launched packaging
• Consumer healthcare or FMCG experience is an advantage
