About this position

The Legal Manager will be responsible for handling legal disputes, drafting legal documents, identifying legal risks, advising management, and serving as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Handle legal disputes and litigation involving the platform, including negotiation, mediation, and, if necessary, litigation management.
• Work with external legal counsel as needed to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to P2P lending activities, including loan agreements, terms of service, and privacy policies.
• Ensure that all legal documents are clear, accurate, and legally binding, protecting the interests of the platform and its users.
• Identify legal risks associated with P2P lending operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Advise management on legal matters affecting the business, including potential risks and liabilities, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and authorities regarding legal matters.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports as required by law.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in legal.
• Familiar with the credit/lending business, with 2 years or more of work experience in this industry (many years of work experience in other industries are also acceptable).
• Fluent in English (must).
• Stable work experience and willingness to develop together with the company in the long term (must).
• Have the resources of a notary office (add point)
