Assistant Manager - Internal Audit
About this position
The Assistant Manager - Internal Audit is responsible for leading, conducting, and managing complex Information System Audits and System Development Reviews.
Responsibilities
• Assisting managers in plan and execute IT audit engagement for a variety of clients including testing controls over information security, systems change management, system development, and IT operations.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout business processes.
• Utilize IA’s smart audit technology and methodologies and demonstrate the global values and behaviors when completing work and documenting conclusions.
• Build an understanding of client business and markets to assist in the development of client relationships.
• Identify and communicate IT audit findings to senior management and clients
• Perform any other tasks or assignments
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, IT, or related fields.
• Junior/senior position: 1-3 years' experience in internal or external IT audit, IT risk and compliance.
• Assistant Manager position: 3-5 years' experience in internal or external IT audit, IT risk and compliance.
• Have knowledge and be practical in analyzing and designing computer systems/managing information systems.
• Able to appreciate business process issues and understand business transaction scenarios
