About this position
Thairath Group is looking for an energetic editor who loves both creativities and business to join Thairath Online as a Editor in Chief.
Responsibilities
• Setting the ethical framework for editorial, Responsible for attracting, developing and retaining editorial talent, encouraging diversity and social responsibility.
• Reviews all content, articles, photographs, graphic and multimedia for accuracy and appropriateness, providing suggestions where necessary to improve them.
• Determines the editorial guidelines and tone of voice for the brand, ensuring that all content produced falls in line with this style.
• Plan and manage all daily operations.
• Track budget spend and present reports as requested.
• Setting the content strategy over short, medium and long terms.
• Collaborating with commercial and technology teams, ensuring an overall view is taken of digital and financial opportunities and challenges.
• Helping to create and realise new revenue streams and business models, collaborating closely with Sale and BD.
Requirements
• 10+ years proven track record in content industry.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, sometimes-ambiguous work environment
• Highly Analytical/Good Problem Solving skills/Good Critical Thinking skills/Creative.
• Innovative thinking, keen market insight; excellent time management and multi-tasking ability.
• Passionate or willing to learn about Digital content.
• Good communication skills, excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; basic Chinese language skill is preferred
