About this position

Lead and supervise a group of Contractor’s project control consisting of Schedulers/Planner, Cost Estimator/Cost Controller in order to provide various project control Services to Company in accordance with construction execution by Construction Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all systems, processes, and procedures for project control are consistently and well-implemented including but not limited to construction portfolio management including prioritization and work distribution, resources management, project/construction schedule development, cost estimating and controlling, schedule estimating and controlling, documents management, assisting and mentoring Construction Contractor to enhance project and resources control, etc.
• Report to and assist Project Manager and or Construction Management Area Manager and coordinate with Company project control and Construction Contractor in the implementation of construction portfolio management services to get proper construction resources distribution and support project/construction completion in accordance with schedule and cost.
• Monitoring and ensuring Contractor’s payment process and other supporting processes, execute as per Contract’s expectation, including but not limited to the engineering Services.
• Develop and implement a useful, efficient, and effective reporting system for project controls function, to get Company endorsement before implemented uniformly amongst the Contractor organization including the audit function for those process implementations.

Requirements

• Minimum education is a bachelor's degree (S1) in engineering, science, economics, management, or computer with minimum 15 years of working experience in project controls and a minimum of 10 years of which experience as a Project Controls Superintendent or a leader that leads Schedulers and Cost Controller for oil and gas or petrochemical handling projects and/or facilities.
• The candidate shall have a broad knowledge of various project controls practices and related codes & standards, including thorough knowledge and skills in scheduling & costing methods with associated procedures & computer applications, and electronic data management system (EDMS) with associated software and IT systems.
• The candidate shall have a strong supervisory capability and high skills for facilitation & coordination, mentoring & coaching, and networking.
