What does a Manufacturing Analyst do?

The Manufacturing Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. This role involves conducting data analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance overall manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Analyst will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing.

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Analyst

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production schedules, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of manufacturing issues and develop solutions to address them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track manufacturing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, to ensure consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel on new processes, tools, and techniques.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
