About this position

Trader - East Java Area is responsible for merchandising grains and feedstuff in order to achieve sales target and gain significant financial return.

Responsibilities

• Identifying opportunity for business growth
• Analyzing commodity portfolio to identify trading opportunities
• Applying relevant and required trading strategies during various market trends or economic condition
• Conducting negotiations on buying and selling activities
• Providing advice and guidance on buying and selling decision
• Monitoring supply and demand factors that affect trades and valuations
• Monitoring international market performance
• Managing customers and market
• Building good business relationship with existing networks and possible trade partners
• Improving efficiency in operations
• Doing collaboration with operations team to handle the physical settlement of commodity

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree from Economics & Business, Agribusiness, or related major
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Agricultural Commodities Trading
• Residence in East Java Area (Surabaya & Surroundings Area)
• Have International agricultural commodities trading experiences
• Have excellent analytical thinking skill with strong self-initiative
• Have excellent customer orientation & entrepreneurial mind-set
• Attention to detail, have a result orientation, and willing to be hands on
• Have excellent communication & negotiation skill, written & spoken, both in English and Bahasa
• Have excellent presentation skill, both in English and Bahasa
• Proficient using Microsoft Office program especially Microsoft Excel
