Senior Solution Architect-Digital Platform
About this position
The Senior Solution Architect-Digital Platform will be responsible for implementing new solutions and supporting the development of systems or technologies.
Responsibilities
• Understand complex business drivers and deliver new business initiatives, translating business requirements into clear business outcomes
• Define the target landscape for managing digital technologies
• Identify the changes/projects that need to happen in order to achieve the target landscape
• Translate requirements into a language which can be understood by the intended technology teams including:Creation of solution architecture diagrams.Prototyping, mock-ups and wireframes.Creation of high-level solution design and detailed implementable designsProviding technology, business and architectural governance input to business cases and other project documentation as requiredCreate and maintain Enterprise Architecture framework for designing, planning, implementing, and governing off Enterprise technology across the businessEnsure that the relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied to projectsPerform other Solution Architecture related activities as allocated, ensuring quality of outputs in terms of time, cost and business benefitFacilitate and delivery requests for enhancements to solutionsManage deliverables to ensure partners meet our specifications and quality requirementsLeads to review architectural feasibility of the requirements, including non-functional requirements, security considerations and defining the high-level solutions outlineAssist the product owner with the product backlog and prioritizationCoach and mentor digital team
Requirements
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience highly regarded
• Minimum of 5+ years of technical/solution architecture experience
• Proven ability to translate business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions
• Suitable certifications in Enterprise Architect disciplines and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), Azure and/or other Cloud providers Ability to create and assess high-quality project artefacts based using Enterprise Architectural disciplines and frameworksAbility to manage and drive technical partners, vendors, business stakeholders, IT teams and others as needed to get the right outcomeSignificant experience in cloud-based infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networkingSignificant design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applicationsSolid understanding of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture and experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraintsAble to communicate technology concepts to business people with a focus on business value and benefitAble to provide technical leadership and negotiate outcomes with other technical and business stakeholdersStrong focus on operational security and stability with demonstrated skills in aiding operational teamsProven track record of building deep technical relationships with other senior Managers in enterprise environments. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects requiredExcellent written and verbal communication in English and ThaiPresentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developersExcellent facilitation, documentation and communication skillsAble to work independently (self-driven) and collaboratively as neededStrong business acumen and ability to work in a team environmentExposure to methodologies such as Agile an advantage
