The plant was established in 1974 and started its production in 1979 in Pathumthani with the production capacity of 150 ton per day. Currently, BGC has 5 glass packaging plants with the largest number of production capacity in Thailand. From just one furnace, today, BGC has grown steadily. The company was incorporated into BG Container Glass Company Limited in the year 2016 and was registered as Public Company Limited in the year 2018 The company is built on a foundation of innovation, advanced production technology and effective performance that can be recognized internationally. Moreover, the products meet the standards and cover all needs of diverse customers.

The Researcher will focus on exploring, studying, and evaluating packaging material technology and innovation to enhance efficiency in the production process and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Explore, study, research, and evaluate packaging material technology and innovation in the materials category to enhance efficiency in the production process and product quality to meet standards and market requirements.
• Survey and study the problems/requirements of technology in materials within the production process for evaluating the feasibility of technology research and development.
• Assess the possibilities and risks of technology adoption or technology development.
• Propose work plans and budgets for research and development.
• Research and develop technology or innovation.
• Plan work with the factory, production unit, marketing unit, Engineering & Technical support team, and Technology Commercialization.

Requirements

• Master's or doctorate degree related to researching in packaging and film material.
• 3+ years of researching experience directly in the research field.
• Proven knowledge of research methods, processes, and operations.
• Excellent data analysis and data collection skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• English written and verbal communication skills are a plus.
• Must be able to work at the Technology Innovation Center of BGC at Thammasart University Rangsit, Pratumthani.
