About this position

Lead Engineer, SMT Machine Maintenance position requires executing tasks in equipment development projects, optimizing maintenance plans, and driving corrective actions related to machine failures.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks in the equipment development project including purchasing and implementing standard off the shelf solutions or developing new standard automation equipment solutions
• Execute hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off the shelf equipment
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders including solution providers for design, technical information, and specifications
• Support correcting technical problems impacting equipment validation activities associated with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
• Execute and optimize/improve maintenance plans and activities
• Support customer product road map using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools such as User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Design for Automation Assembly (DFAA) and PM workbook
• Drive problem solving and corrective actions related to causes of machine failures, speed loss, or quality issues
• Work with Process Engineering to ensure equipment is statistically capable of meeting the product manufacturing requirements

Requirements

• Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in electronics industry
• Familiar with troubleshooting, SMT Equipment, HL Equipment, ASM, Fuji NXT, Press Fit, Wave Soldering
• Leadership with good attitude
• Good command of English
• Able to work in Laem Chabang, Chonburi
