About this position

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for planning and controlling project development of electrical installation engineering documents, coordinating with related engineers and PMs, and providing technical specifications for cable calculations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control project development of electrical installation engineering documents such as Cable tray layout, Cable schedule, 3D model etc.
• Coordinate with related engineers and PM involved in the project.
• Providing cable technical specification and criteria for cable calculation section.
• Defining main cable routing from main substation to downstream system till final loads.
• Detailing installation electrical system such as cable tray, conduit, electrical devices connection.
• Analyze input documentation, clarify uncompleted information and ability to solve problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree of electrical engineering or related fields.
• Good knowledge of electrical design and installation work such as electrical equipment, cable tray, conduits and so on.
• 2-5 year experience in related fields.
• Good knowledge of MS-Office, Auto CAD, Autodesk Naviswork, 3D software (PDMS or AVEVA will be considered in advantage).
• Knowledge international standard such as IEC, NEC etc.
