About this position
The IT Manager position requires a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or related field, with at least 7 years’ experience in IT professional and 3 years in management level.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• Monitoring and maintaining of network and software components (1st level) and implement 2nd level support (from HQ in Germany) when necessary for more complex matters.
• Maintaining smooth operation and monitoring usage of Firewalls, SharePoint, Network devices, VPNs, communication tools, internet, and other IT infrastructures.
• Diagnosing and trouble-shootings system and network problems, hardware, or software faults, providing technical support across both locations of the company.
• Error acceptance, first error analysis, documentation, and reporting, which may be in person or over the phone, email and remote.
• Plan and implement new IT infrastructure for new projects from different department.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 7 years’ experience in IT professional and 3 years in management level with a background in computer networking and hardware, information technology or similar in a similar role, position and in an international environment.
• The ability to think logically and systematically.
• Planning improvement of IT infrastructure and implementing new technologies to enhance information security and improving the convenience of the users.
• Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with users and IT managers to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
