We offer products and including technical consultation, system design, installation, service and training for various industries. We also offer educational training equipment in automation technology (hardware, software & teachware) for universities and institutions. Due to the rapid growth for our operations in Thailand, we urgently require high caliber person to fill in the following position.

About this position

Responsible to carry out service jobs remotely and/or at customer’s site. Responsible to failure identification and root cause analysis on technical complaint. Additionally, responsible for conducting Festo Energy Saving Services (FESS)

Responsibilities

• On-site failure identification, root cause analysis, identification of suitable measures, fault clearance, implementation of improvement measures on Festo components and systems (focus technologies are defined base on sales strategies)
• Planning, documentation and reporting of on-site services (including spare parts)
• Start request for technical support or escalation if problem solving not possible
• Find and implement solutions, when a close communication with specialist departments at Festo for problem solving is necessary
• Commissioning, programming and dimensioning of Festo components and systems
• Planning, preparing, and carrying out Festo Energy Saving Services, such as: leakage detection, compressed air quality and consumptions analysis, energy saving trainings and seminars and full FESS audits.
• Preparing reports based on energy services results and advising customers on the countermeasure activities, such as air distribution network redesign, replacement of inefficient parts, reduction of general air pressure level, etc.
• Advising customers and sales colleagues in the field of energy saving
• Decides self dependently about suggestions of suitable solutions for problem solving at customer’s site
• Ensures a positive and professional behaviour towards the customer
• Ensures compliance with agreed dates and timelines
• Ensures a high standard of the on-site service at the customer
• Ensures a high value/benefit of the on-site service towards the customer
• Ensures a frequent communication towards customer and Festo
• Flexibility in working times
• Highest technical competence in working with Festo components and systems
• Transferring of expert knowledge to Festo colleagues in the Technical Support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Mechatronic or Electronical.
• Minimum 3 years experience in working with Control system, PLC programming (Festo, Siemens, Omron, Allan Bradley, and/or Beckhoff), sensors, motor controller, servo motor, and/or remote IO
• Customer service oriented with good interpersonal and communication skill
• Experience in working with pneumatic components, air generation and air preparation systems
• Knowledge on air distribution systems and products/solutions dedicated to energy saving
• Good presentation skills to promote energy saving services and to lead seminars related with this topic.
• Good/Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken Thai & English.
• Computer skills in MS-Office, SAP, SharePoint
• Able to travel in up-country.
