Data Scientist (Hybrid Working)
About this position
The Data Scientist position involves working with stakeholders to leverage company data for business solutions, analyzing data, developing statistical models, and collaborating with different teams.
Responsibilities
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
• Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
• Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company needs and devise possible solutions.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years experience in ETL, data processing, data programming and data analytics or similar.
• Expert proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience in creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
• Experience in developing cloud applications running on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience in designing and implementing systems using emerging technology.
