About this position

The Division Manager - Coating and Adhesive will be responsible for managing the overall performance of portfolio companies in the Coating and Adhesives Business.

Responsibilities

• Assist VP in managing overall performance of portfolio companies in Coating and Adhesives Business
• Lead pool analyst team to perform comprehensive analysis of portfolio companies’ performance
• Identify improvement and opportunities area and make recommendation to VP on strategic issues to drive business performance
• Align with International Portfolios Management to follow up with Board related matters
• Identify potential synergy among portfolio companies and GC and lead execution of the synergy projects
• Seek in-depth understanding of business of portfolio companies as well as their operation and identify the potential areas that could create synergy/ value creation between them and within GC group

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Tax & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related
• 8-year experiences in working on a full process of BD project (either organic, JV or M&A)
• Experience in working with international environment
• In depth knowledge of chemicals business, preferably in the field of Coating and Adhesive
• Understanding of M&A process, how a JV company being managed effectively
