About this position

The Senior Analyst - Coating and Adhesive will be responsible for monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting strategic growth options.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with analyst team to monitor the overall performance of portfolio companies in Coating and Adhesives business and promptly alert the strategic issues to Division Manager.
• Work closely with pool analyst team to review the analysis of portfolio companies’ performance and identify implication to the business.
• Assist division manager to identify improvement and opportunities area and make recommendation to VP on strategic issues to drive business performance.
• Align with International Portfolios Management to follow up with Board related matters.
• Identify potential synergy among portfolio companies and GC and execution of the synergy projects in the assigned areas.
• Study business of portfolio companies as well as their operation and support division manager to identify the potential areas that could create synergy/ value creation between them and within GC group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Tax & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related.
• 3–5 year experiences in working on a full process of BD project (either organic, JV or M&A).
• Experience in working with international environment.
• In depth knowledge of chemicals business, preferably in the field of Coating and Adhesive.
• Understanding of M&A process, how a JV company being managed effectively.
