Responsibilities

• Promotes technically Automation & Communication portfolio (IEDs, RTUs, Wireless and SCADA) and participates to their commercial development for electrical Distribution networks
• Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs in the segment of Distribution Automation (<150kV)
• Leads Homologations / certifications / Proof of Concepts
• Offers technical advice and provides comments on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regards to Hitachi Energy products/systems/ applications IEDs, RTUs, Wireless and SCADA portfolio
• Ensures most competitive design taking into account the market situation and customer’s conditions
• Supports bid/no bid analyses and decisions. Participates in project risk review processes

Requirements

• Engineering/Trade qualifications – Electrical or equivalent, 5-10 years’ experience in specific product and software RTUs, Wireless and SCADA; especially in Distribution System Operators markets and Industries
• Strong knowledge in power systems, software, integration and automation, industrial controls, PLCs, industry protocols such as (IEC-61850, DNP, 60870-5, Modbus), Ethernet systems, protocol analyzers, and industry SCADA practices
• Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MSTeams, Outlook, Sharepoint. Salesforce
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, high attention to detail
