They excel in managing bulk materials, precise weighing and feeding, separation and screening, as well as advanced automation and control systems. This company is based in Germany and operates globally with offices, factories, and service centers to serve clients effectively. They are in the process of establishing their APAC office in Thailand, which will be the starting point for regional business activities. This opportunity is ideal for a talented individual seeking to expand business across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

Market Intelligence:

- Research and analyze market trends and customer needs for product/service improvements.
- Collect and analyze data on customer preferences and demographics in the food, pharma and cosmetics sector
- Provide regular competitor activity reports to senior management.
- Assist in market entry strategies, pricing models, and product positioning development.

Market Development:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Explore new markets and geographical areas for business expansion and lead market entry strategies.
- Drive business development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and build strategic partnerships.

Sales Development:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Identify local business partners, negotiate partnership agreements and collaborations that align with the company's goals and objectives, onboard partners, and act as a central contact.
- Manage business partners, set annual goals, and monitor progress to ensure performance in accordance with business goals.
- Assist in the negotiation and closing of business deals, contracts, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in market research and business development, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of the industrial industry, market dynamics, and key players, knowledge of the food, pharma, and cosmetics industry desired.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English language.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience in business development and building strategic partnerships.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients and partners.
