About this position
We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join our team and lead our manufacturing process. This position is critical to the success of our organization, and the successful candidate must be a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, be able to manage and motivate a team, and be able to develop and implement process improvements. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, including managing production schedules, setting production quality standards, and ensuring that all
Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure consistent quality and output.
2. Monitor production output and adjust schedules and staffing levels accordingly.
3. Oversee the purchasing and inventory of raw materials, supplies and equipment.
4. Develop and implement production cost reduction initiatives.
5. Ensure safety and environmental regulations are adhered to.
6. Monitor product and process quality and take corrective action when necessary.
7. Manage and motivate staff, including performance appraisals and disciplinary action.
8. Liaise with other departments, such as research and development, to ensure production requirements are met.
9. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Monitor and analyze production performance and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager, ideally in a similar industry
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and make decisions based on findings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
