About this position

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing the company's industrial processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity. They will analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to streamline operations. This position reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate existing production processes to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production flow, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
• Design and layout production facilities, considering factors such as space utilization, equipment placement, and workflow.
• Conduct time and motion studies to determine the most efficient methods for completing tasks and achieving production targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to streamline production processes and enhance productivity.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in production operations.
• Train and educate production staff on new processes, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide recommendations for process optimization and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
