About this position

As the Quality Assurance Certification Lead, responsible for ensuring quality standards and certifications for Tilapia fish project in Medan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for the Tilapia fish project.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate certification processes.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance practices and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of quality processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Food Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience 3-5 years in quality assurance and certification within the aquaculture industry, with a focus on fish production.
• Strong understanding of relevant quality standards and certifications (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ASC, BAP) for aquaculture products.
• Experience coordinating audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and third-party certification bodies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
