About this position

The Direct Procurement Manager, Asia packaging lead at Syngenta Group will be responsible for leading and managing the Regional Direct Procurement function in Asia countries, specifically focusing on the packaging category.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Regional Direct Procurement function in Asia countries
• Guide in scope countries on implementing quality and process standards
• Ensure Direct Procurement activities support the Syngenta business and enable competitiveness and growth
• Ensure operations are conducted according to Syngenta Code of Conduct and compliance requirements
• Develop and implement a Direct Procurement strategy across the Region
• Establish and motivate a capable team to deliver the strategy

• Master level of Sourcing/ Business Strategy setting and delivery
• Team management (cross functional and multi cultural)
• Project management
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrable sourcing and team management experience
